Conversations from the Heart

#36 - Getting Grounded in Your Goodness

Yvette Erasmus Season 1 Episode 36

One of the things that can trip us up on our personal growth journey is to force the process before we're ready.

I can think of so many times when I've been longing to master a skill that I was still practicing, and then criticizing myself for where I was at in the process.

In this week's episode, we discover that the remedy for conditioning that inhibits us and the judgment that comes when we long to be other than where we are is getting grounded in our own goodness.

Questions we'll answer today include:

  • 2:35:  How do I tell my AA sponsor that I want a new sponsor?
  • 19:17:  How can I stop being so hard on myself and become grounded in my own goodness?
  • 35:48:  How can I help a friend take accountability for the negative impact her actions have on those of us in the friend group?
